Who is God?

God, the Creator, and Ruler of the universe, eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three, known as the Trinity, are co-equal and one God.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is equal with the Father. Jesus became fully man, lived a sinless human life, and then offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. After three days He rose from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death, then ascended to Heaven. He will one day return to reign as King of kings and Lord over all lords.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit, equal with the Father and the Son of God, is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides every Christ follower with power for living, understanding spiritual truth, and guidance for living according to the Word of God. Scripture challenges all Christ followers to seek God wholeheartedly and daily live surrendered to His authority. The Holy Spirit also gives spiritual gifts for the purpose of glorifying God and encouraging others. Christ followers are to supremely regard the fruit of the Spirit as they reflect the character and nature of God, in all things.

Who am I?

People, made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character, are the supreme objects of God’s creation. Through Christ, all people have tremendous potential for good, but all are marred by disobedience toward their Creator, which God calls sin.

What is Salvation?

Salvation, God’s offered redemption for sin, is provided through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. All who, by faith, turn from self-rule to Jesus Christ are forgiven by God and freed from the penalty of sin. No sin is beyond God’s ability or willingness to forgive. Salvation, given by grace, is not attained through self-improvement or good works. Any person who believes that Jesus rose from the dead and confesses that Jesus is Lord of his life, is saved and made a new, spiritual creation.

What is Eternity?

Eternity, God’s will for every human is to experience a life-transforming relationship that is found only in Christ. All humanity will experience a bodily resurrection and a judgment that will determine the fate of each individual. Having rejected God, unbelievers will suffer eternal condemnation apart from Him. Those who choose to follow Christ and His ways, will enter eternal communion with God.
